Dewy and I moved at the end of May! We left our fabulous first home that we loved and adored, and had it not been to move into my grandparent's house to live for free while they went on a mission we would probably still be there. We L O V E D our ward there and our callings (sniff sniff) and all the friends we made there. Not to mention the house was adorable. I definitely miss it there, but we are so happy to be where we are with the chance to save money for our own place, and meet new people. Here is the old house. Sigh.
We are like regular home owners now! We mow the lawn, weed the flowerbeds, screw up the sprinklers--the works! Today I set out to weed grandma's enormous garden. I was out there for three hours, got a wretched tan line and blisters on my thumbs, and I barely made a dent in the dang thing. I should have jumped on that sooner. It's all been fun though, and how awesome to move into a fully furnished house... does life get any better... I submit that it cannot.
Whats next??
The second week of June I went with mom and Kaylee down south for summer games. Kaylee cannot play (doctors orders) for about a year, so it was real convenient when her coach broke his foot and needed someone to assistant coach. The weather was frickin' freezing in Cedar, but it was fun to get out with the girls. I know Kaylee wished she could have been out on the field playing, but she was a trooper hanging on the sidelines barking orders and cheering them on.
Remember when shopping in St George was stupendous?? Remember how now its not even that good?? How is it I go all the way down to St George and the only places I buy anything are at Old Navy and Target?? Really? After that trip I'm pretty sure I could name every single Justin Beiber song, and sing you the words. Kaylee has a sickness. Confession: I kinda don't hate him either.
