And sometimes they don't.
As I was working my mother called me up to inquire why a police officer was standing on her porch looking for me. Well mom... I AM kind of a trouble maker. You never know. I glanced to my cell and notice a voice mail and proceeded to call myself to hear it. As Michael Jackson serenaded my ears my tension built. I keyed the code and the officer's voice played through the speaker. Someone had hit my car. Call him back on dispatch. Cripes.
I head out to asses the damage and find my front drivers' side light sitting delicately on the hood as if to say, "hello some kind passerby cared enough about me to pick me up off the pavement and set me on your hood so you wouldn't miss me. Nice right?" Cue cop at work. P.S. it looks really awesome when random cops come into your office and inquire about your whereabouts. I should have come out, wrists together, and dramatically declared "Take me away!" Too bad I wasn't such a quick thinker at the time.
The hit-and-run queen of crime called and left me a message as well. She was rude. Actually, she was sassy and rude. Chick tried to claim she didn't know she hit me. Um great news. You took my light clean off. Nice try. Yesterday someone hit my car. And ran. Too bad someone else saw you. Sucker.

What? Were are the pictures??? Sometimes at least you know some AWESOME people:) ....and actually, sometimes you DON"T...
Amber that sucks! But at least you know who did it! About 2 1/2 years ago my car got hit while parked outside the branch, only no one left a note. And the mirror wasn't on my hood. They had seriously scotch taped it back on! I didn't even notice until Dave was washing my car and asked why my mirror was taped on. Dumb people.
