Welp. Got my pictures taken. I would post pictures but that darling fiance of mine may take interest in my blog. Dewy+Wedding dress before the wedding day=BAD IDEA.
As I was doing my hair and trying to figure out how in Heaven's name I was going to get my veil in a thought occured to me. I do all my major thinking as I do my hair. The bathroom provokes deep thought I guess. Anyway, my thought was this: HOLY CRIPES I DON'T HAVE ANY JEWELRY! I was supposed to be at the studio in 20 minutes. Super. Mom made some phone calls and luckily the ward saved the day. Problem #1 solved.
We got everything ready and threw it all in the car. As we pulled into the parking lot at Crystal Leaf Photography, I realized problem #2. I ONLY HAVE ONE EARRING IN! Cripes. I had put on two different ones and let mom pick which looked better and then forgot to replace the wrong one with the right one's match. Awesome. Mom dropped me off and ran back to the house for the earring, leaving me to get myself into my dress. What a task. Problem #2 solved.
The studio shoots went miraculously, as would any pictures taken of me lets be honest with ourselves. Ha. Joke. After the studio we went over to the Union Station (I should get an award for originality) where a very nice, slightly overweight, security man offered to let me use his motorcycle for my pictures. The bike was huge, shiny, and (you guessed it) TURQUOISE. I went to Temple Prep class last week, I needed the blessings. The pictures were once again miraculous. Then problem #3 arose. The sun wasn't setting fast enough to have good lighting for the pictures at the back of Union Station. Cue awesome idea. Why not go check out that really old, really cool, Episcipal Church on 24th? There was a big rod iron fence and a wall full of ivy. There was also two super classy Ogden gems (who I think may have been under the influence) that thought it appropriate to talk to me. Cue my "whatever you loser" face. One walked by with his tongue hanging out flashing the "hang loose" sign. Super glad you have all your teeth! OH WAIT! My bad. We may or may not have illegally entered the actual church grounds as well. I'm not entirely sure, but alas I got some rockin' pictures by a lamp post. Problem #3 solved.
The shoot ended in the back of the Union Station where I swung on some trains (yep still in my wedding dress) and cut up my arm. I literally grabbed hold of a bar on the big red snowblower thing on the train and swung myself around. I walked the railroad tracks without shoes on, was about ready to rip my veil off, and I hadn't eaten all day. Dewy took me to Kirts. Problem #4 solved.

That was a lot of problems. Typical for a picture taking experience. I will have to tell you about my religious take on getting family pictures...Because it truly was a blessing and a testimony builder I dare not share it in a comment. I would hate to take away from it.
