Busy Week--Picture overload... be warned

So much for spring break.
This week I worked Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and by the time I left on Wednesday night I never wanted to see that office again. I'm not used to doing that three in a row garbage. It had its benefits though... like having the entire weekend off... but I wouldn't recommend doing it.
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday were spent doing wedding everything. I met with a cake decorator, flourist, wedding planner, tent rental person, videographer, photographer, and picked out my wedding dress. I wish to high heaven I could post a picture of it for you all to admire, but alas, Dewy is nosy and if I posted a picture he would find out and take a sneak peek. Not good. The pictures of some of the dresses I tried on are here though... The real one is not included. There is a funny story to go along with the dress thing though. Please admire these GORGEOUS pictures of my naughty mom and sister who took it upon themselves to be disruptive while I shopped for the perfect dress. ..

Anyway... back to the funny dress shopping story. The second place I went to look at a dress is called Bridal Reflection. Its a little old lady who rents dresses out of her home, and is a little off her rocker. Grandma has some screws loose upstairs. Not kidding. When I walked in she looked at me for a minute, then (dead serious) said "well, take your clothes off. What are you waiting for? Get naked and put that slip on." Awkward. As I began to strip myself of clothes and dignity, in walked two cowboys needing to be fit for tuxedos. Also let me add that this place has NO dressing rooms. I was standing in the middle of the place about to drop my jeans and had these two walked in about 5 seconds later, they would have had a free show. Classy.

Also this weekend I played with my long lost friends Alex and Danielle. We watched about 11.27 hours of friends, did hair, and took lots of pictures. It was grand. Alex tried a new hair cutting technique on Danielle and how could I pass up taking photos of that? Lets be real here... Alex also practiced a possible do for my big day..

I'm still debating on if I want it straight or curly, but I really liked the one we did that night. This week I meet Dewy's aunt and uncle from Texas. Wish me luck... I hear his uncle looks like Kevin James. Maybe I'll call him Paul Blart, or Albert. Probably I'll chicken out.
