seaworld.

Seaworld. Was. HOT.

Since it had been raining for the last few days, the humidity in Texas was exceptionally high. We were all thrilled to see blue skies, so we decided to brave the humidity and head to "dolphin school" which is what Coy called it. To demonstrate the hotness... We were all sitting waiting to watch the show with the sea otters in it, when I glanced at Dewy and pointed to his forehead which was literally covered in beads of sweat and said, "gross" to which he responded by touching his finger to the ball of my nose, wiping off a sweat bead that was about to drip and said, "gross." We were all sweating to death and not even moving around! That sea otter show was the first one we saw. Seaworld was crowded, but it was so fun! I haven't been to Seaworld in forever.

BranDee, me, and cousin McKell hiding out in the shade of the bathroom doorway. Charming. Here is all of us hiding under the misty walkway after we had been there for maybe an hour.

Aunt Shelby, Gentrie, McKell, and Mr. Coy Owen Tuckett looking slightly less than impressed with picture taking. On the right we see Tate (in blue), Gabe (in pink), Wyatt (in black), Phil (in white), McKell, Alexis, and Gentrie waiting to enter the park.

SHAMU! There are like 10 whales named Shamu... kind of takes the exuberance out of it don't you think? That is Coy when I asked how he felt about going to "dolphin school."
We were so excited to find some shade when we went to see Shamu. The whole place was shaded and slightly cooler than outside. We sat there for about an hour before the show even started. The Hodges siblings just before we left for Seaworld. I love them all.
Lucky for us, we had ZERO bad luck in Seaworld, minus the heat and poor Bart on his crutches. We stayed all day in that blazin heat and humidity, until dinner time when we were off to ANOTHER fantastic restaurant. Texas food is way better than Utah food. Period.
