Great news.
I survived. I didn't even have to run to the bathroom to throw up!
It is amazing to me that 8th graders and 9th graders can be so different. I figured they were at least be similar. NOPE. Like night and day. Weird. As the year progresses I'm sure they start to become more and more alike until the 9th graders hit "sophomore" mode and I want to kick them out.
Today I glared at a kid for 5 minutes. He blew his nose in the classroom. He obviously knew the rule was to go in the hall. Mrs. Hodges thinks hearing people blow their nose is disgusting. If you are super loud, go in Mr Wallace's class across the hall to do it. Sick.
Other than the nose blowing incident... so far so good!

That's awesome!! I would have loved to have a teacher with that rule! I absolutely hate that sound!! Especially when the person is super loud and the room is extremely silent. Yuck!! Good for you!! Happy first Day!!
That is one of my pet peeves!!! I hate when people blow their nose in front of me. My brother does it all the time. Payton has caught on to its nastyness too, because if she hears anyone do it she says, "EW GROSS" I love it!!
Glad you survived your first day! Did you know my little brother Kaden is a 8th grader there? I don't think he lucked out and got you for a teacher though :)
Amber, you are by far the coolest teacher ever!!! Those kids are lucky to have you. I hope they know that! You rock!
