oops.

I do dumb things.

Today while at work the phone rang. Sometimes the hubbs calls from his work to discuss items such as dinner plans or what I'm wearing. OK that last part was a lie but you get the jist. I'm sure he's thinking it anyway... When he calls, the caller ID doesn't show his actual direct line but rather a universal number that will send you to their call center if you call it back. Everyone caught up still? Ok good. So I'm sitting there and the phone rings and its that number. That means its the hubbs. I grab the phone, proceed to drop it onto the counter and then into the trash. Laughing, I pick it up and say into the phone, "Sorry I'm an idiot I totally just dropped the phone! Whats up Hubsy!!" I then hear the following, "Hi my name is (so and so). I'm over at (my husbands place of employment) and I need to get the ten day payoff of my loan."

Cue red face, dropped jaw, and curse word. I am a fool.
