easter-fest.

Hoppy Easter. Sorry. Couldn't resist.

Talk about a whirlwind of birthday celebrations and Easter. Poor Dewy had to share part of his birthday celebrations. I hogged mine all to myself. Dewy's family have a tradition going that I feel I may have underestimated. Every year the lil kidlets have an egg hunt. Fairly normal. Then the adults bust out all the stops and running on all cylindars in an attempt to find the "golden egg". The golden egg signifies where next years Easter shindig is held, so all the adults scramble in a desperate attempt to keep the party closeby. Keeping in mind the Tuckett clan ranges from Malta (population 141--not kidding) Idaho to Provo and a few in Texas. This year the lucky winner was Aunt Tam from Provo. The best part is that Uncle Brandon (who hosted this year) spent a whole week bragging about how no one was going to find the egg. His hiding place was "prime" and "legit" and he was going to keep the egg for years because no one was going to discover it. Not to worry. Tam found it in approximately 2.1 minutes.

You can bet your bottom dollar that if the boys are together a game of ball is brewin. Don't even think that its for fun. This is for blood and bragging rights. Uncle Brandon is still talking about when he beat the young chaps two weeks ago, and he hasn't won for ages.

Oh and just for kicks here is Aunt Tam clad in her black spandex holding her prize. Looks like we are headin to Provo. The Easter Bunny didn't even miss my house this year either. If I even see another Cadbury Egg I might barf. But oh how I love them. We loved all our items. Thanks fam for the gipts (which really means gifts...I don't know...Its a Hodges thing)
