WHO killed Bambi?!

Last night Dewy's extended family and my immediate family played in an ultimate softball game. Kids against parents. Kids won.

On the way home, my parents and Nick and Austin were traveling down West Harrisville Road in Harrisville when the unexpected occurred. You guessed it, a frickin deer launched itself into the road and without hesitation was slammed by our minivan. A deer. On West Harrisville Road. What a joke. Nick called me hysterically laughing and explained the entire experience as I started laughing. Mom was wiggin' out because the head of the dear slammed her side of the windshield and shattered it, Austin was sitting staring out the broken windshield stunned, and Dad thought it quite comical as well. Here is how Dad explained it this morning: "Thing didn't even know what was coming. It went leap leap, SLAM! and we hit it. Right in the middle of West Harrisville Road." All the while he was fighting a giggle and using hand motions to demonstrate the accident.

The front of the van is smashed in and the antenna is all sorts of skiwampus. Weird things only happen to my family. I swear it. Who hits a deer on a main street in Harrisville? Only the Allens.

P.S. I get married in the morning and I find myself working today... whose idea was that???

I can't believe your fam hit a deer in Harrisville! Seeing one would be weird enough. Ha!
Been thinking about you today, as of right now the sun is shining, but earlier I was a bit worried about you and the rain! Hope it worked out. See you as a married girl tonight! Yeah!

So funny! Congratulations on getting married! I am so bummed I couldn't be at your reception, but I expect to see lots of cute pictures and the story of how it all went! Congrats again! Oh, and Dr. Burrows is a weird man. Luckily, I don't have to communicate with him too much. Gag! :)
