Oh ye of little faith

When I woke up this morning it was pouring. WTF. Not raining. Pouring. My engagement pictures were set for 5pm. Cripes.

Good thing I went to 7 hours of church this weekend AND said my prayers. I needed the Lord on my side today, and He was fully aware that should the weather not cooperate I may have a slight breakdown. It poured for hours, but alas as the clock struck 3 blue skies arrived. Nothing short of a miracle. Better be sure to pay extra tithing tomorrow.

Keep in mind these pictures posted are just some that mom snapped while the REAL photographer took the REAL pictures. We started up at Cemetary point where it was mighty cold. A dark cloud began to lurk overhead and a few drops fell, but they quickly faded away and left behing the most miraculous rainbow. Seriously. Couldn't have been better. I think I read an extra chapter in the scriptures last night. As we got ready to leave we took a few pictures of us in the water, which about froze our toes off. When we got out of the water our feet were all sandy, and as you can see that darling fiance of mine offered to wipe them off for me. Yes you heard right, he OFFERED. I didn't even make him. I'm holding myself up on the back of the car so as not to fall in the hole left by the missing back seat. Good thing I'm buff. Anyway... After that we went to downtown Ogden (original right?) and took some sweet pictures in some sweet spots I had never seen in Ogden. Who knew. I'll post more of the actual pictures when I get them along with the copywrite. Super. This photographer was splendid and I highly recommend him. CrystalLeaf Photography and his name is Chris Campbell. Wonderful job. Course it helped some that we are so incredibly good looking I'm sure.
