I already wished myself a happy birthday, however I have yet to document the days events. Indulge me.
I went to school. What a lame way to spend a birthday. When I got home my family was watching Sandlot. I joined them, seeing as it is one of my favorites and should be classified as a Great American Film, and shortly after finishing it, went tanning. Who doesn't go tan on their birthday? It was free. Why not. Dewy came over at about 6 pm and we all went to dinner at Iggys. I wasn't too impressed. The food was ok, not stupendous, but the birthday Sunday was nothing short of miraculous. Not kidding.
When we got home we opened presents (obviously the coolest part of the entire day) and had cake. I received the Jason Mraz Cd, David Cook CD, a set of pots and pans, luggage, the movie Twilight (which I made Dewy watch with my that night and guess what... he liked it so don't let him fool you), and some freaking hilarious cards. I'm sorry, but there is nothing better than a great card. My family and I have a new obsession with the Hoops and YoYo brand cards. Go find them at Wal Mart. You will laugh your head off. Be prepared.
I notice these days that I build up my birthday in my head and then when it gets here it feels like another day. Truely though the day was fun. I love being queen for the whole day, and who doesn't like free money in the mail? I love getting paid for something I really have no control over, nor did I exhort any effort to accomplish... like getting older for example. Heaven bless all the relatives of mine who must have known I am a poor college student, soon to be poor college newlywed, who needs to increase her cash flow. I love you all. Thank you!
