A Successful and Festive Saturday

Saturday night after work was quite eventful. The evening began with a work Christmas/service party at Angela's. I'm not going to lie. I was extremely impressed with Angela's home. Her interior design was spectacular and when I have my own house I'm making her come help me decorate. Now back to the story. We had a great time (well what I was there for anyway...) Maddox catered our meal, we got our sweet jackets, ate junk food, and made fleece blankets. This is Malissa and Ally and I. We are the typical Tues/Thurs crew and we have way too much fun. I think the management in the branch discovered our fun-having ways and has tried to split us up. Lately we haven't seen each other as often. However lucky for me other girls at work are fun too and we have just as good of times together. This is some of the gang sitting at Angela's counter and hanging in the kitched before the party got started. I'm jealous of Angela's Mac. I want one. In this picture, Heather is in pink sitting at the counter, Breanne is next to her, Cheryl (our manager) is standing near the wall, and Angela is facing her computer.

I couldn't pass up the chance to take a picture of Ally's PHENOMINAL truffles. They are oreo in the middle with milk chocolate shells drizzled in white chocolate. Yum.

Later that night Dewy and I made a gingerbread house, which was acutally a wooden house but it worked just as well. Austin begged to help, so he and Dewy and I created a masterpiece. It hasn't even been 24 hours and the house has been devoured by my ravenous siblings. This is the before shot. Our house is a candy virgin as of this point. Little did it know...
... that Austin and Dewy were about to get their hands on it. Nothin too crazy yet though.
This is the backyard of the house. Notice Dewy's frog farm and Austin's garden. Can't you tell that the chocolate bars are dirt and the orange skittles are his carrots? Austin doesn't realize carrots grow UNDERground. Also notice the air duct Dewy installed. Classy. Our chimney is slanted as well. Ha.
The finished product. Please ignore the fact that my windows are drooping and uneven and my door is crooked. No big. That snowman was my doing. I would bet its the best part of the house.
