Smooth Move

Welp. I am officially a Sped (which means special ed according to the Hodges family).

As a little bit of background for this event you must understand that I play dodgeball every Monday night. Tonights game was a late one: 11:00 pm. I decided I wanted to leave a little surprise note on a certain individuals car for him to find when he went to work the next morning, so I left my house early to deliver said note before my game. I arrived at this person's residence, hopped out of my car (I left it running), and ran to his car sliding the note in the handle of the drivers side door. Quite pleased with myself, I jolted back to my running car only to discover my door locked. Super. My key taunted me from the ignition, as did my cell phone from the passenger's seat. There I was in the freezing rain, locked out of my car, late for a dodgeball game, and about to blow my surprise. The entire house was dark except for the light of the television flickering through the windows so I quietly knocked on the front door. Tail between my legs, I begged for help to break into my car. My secret was blown, I was made fun of, and it took an hour to break in to the car. We looked like fools. I missed my dodgeball game. So much for smooth.
