Thanksgiving was fabulous as usual. The day began with a jog with mom at 9:30 am. After the jog I decided Kaylee needed to wake up, so I stealthily snuck into her bedroom and pounced on her. I curled Kaylee's hair and then got myself ready for the festivities. We arrived at Grandma and Grandpa Hadlock's around 1. We stuffed our faces, watched football, visited, and slept. Around 5:30 Dewy came over to grandma's to visit with the fam. He and I took our leave about 7ish and went to his house for his family shindig. They are crazy people those Tucketts, Hodges, and Reeves but they are oh so fun. We visited, played the name game (which I
ALMOST won... boo), snacked, and harrassed each other. It was fantastic.

Everyone has their own Thanksgiving traditions that make their holiday a little more personal. For my family a big thing is grandma's rolls. While Grandma and Grandpa were on their mission in Jamaica Aunt Vicki tried to make the rolls, and by no fault of her own, they just weren't the same. I'm almost positive she has a secret she isn't telling us as far as the recipe goes. I'll get it out of her on her death bed. Mark my words.

Nick licked that turkey leg clean. No lie. He ripped that thing right off the bird and devoured it. Super.

Say hello to my dad's side... well... some of them anyway. This is about 1/3 of the Allen/Hadlock/Clark clan.

Who can make a Thanksgiving post without a picture of a turkey? Please pay special attention to the turkey leg... or lack thereof. Refer to the picture of Nick for explanation. Also, ignore the yams in the top righthand corner. I tried to hide them. Yams are gross. Hope everyone's Thanksgiving was awesome!
